| 1972 | June 15: The birth of Burlington Northern Air Freight, Inc., (BNAFI) opens its doors serving Ten cities around the country. This began a steady increase in stations, shipments and employees. | |
| 1980 | BNAFI adds Burlington Air Express, offering small package overnight express services. | |
| 1982 | The Pittson Company acquires BNAFI. The acquisition was then, the largest in air freight history. | |
| 1986 | To reposition itself as an overnight air express company, BNAFI changes its name and corporate logo to Burlington Air Express Inc. | |

| 1997 | As the company starts to offer logistics services in the country, it adopts the abbreviated form BAX, hence BAX Global Philippines. | |

| 2006 | January, the Brink’s Company sells BAX Global, Inc. to Deutsche Bahn AG for $1.1 billion. With the acquisition, Deutsche Bahn (DB) becomes one of the leading companies in transportation and logistics worldwide. |
CPI Transport Milestone
For almost 20 years, CPI Transport has been a reliable partner for Schenker in the Philippines.
| 1983 | CPI Transports, Inc., founded by its chairman, Mr. Patrick Chen, secures its accreditation from the Civil Aeronautics Board and earns the license to operate as a Customs Broker and Airfreight Forwarder. The same year, CPI becomes a member of the Germany-based Trans-Atlast Group and Force family. | |
| 1984 | In what was considered as unprecedented in the local industry, CPI receives IATA commissioning. Hence, the company ascents as a leading freight forwarder evidenced by its citations as top cargo agent from carriers like Lufthansa, British Airways, Philippine Airlines and Singapore Airlines. | |
| 1988 | Schenker & Co. GmbH, then one of the largest freight forwarders worldwide, formalizes an Exclusive Agency Agreement with CPI to better address the Philippines market. | |
| 2005 | With over 20 years of solid service, CPI matures from a purely inbound–oriented transportation company to a logistics provider catering to requirements of top companies in various industries. It offers a wide range of services which include Export and Import Forwarding – Air and Sea, Customs Clearance, Project Handling, Household Removals, Fairs & Exhibitions, Marine Parts Service, Aero Parts Systems, Consolidation and Deconsolidation, Warehousing & Distribution and Insurance. | |
| 2006 | Schenker and CPI signs an agreement that Schenker will take over the operations of CPI as of January 2007. In parallel, the activities of BAX Global in the Philippines will be integrated into Schenker. |
