Schenker Philippines, Inc. a subsidiary of DB Schenker-Transport and Logistics Division of the DB Group, was established in January 2007 with the merging of BAX Global, Inc., CPI Transport Inc., and Star Trans International. 

BAX and CPI have been active in the Philippine market for over 10 and almost 20 years respectively. With an established portfolio of customers across industries, such as high-tech, automotive, retail, consumer, telecom and chemicals, the merging enabled DB Schenker Philippines to stand strongly in its position in global air and ocean freight, logistics, global projects and integrated supply chain solutions.

February 2007 marks the milestone in DB Schenker, Asia Pacific. An inauguration was held to signify the merging of BAX, CPI and Star Trans International creating DB Schenker’s own entity in the Philippines: Schenker Philippines, Inc.

The event was attended by then Senate President- Manuel B. Villar Jr., German Ambassador to the Philippines- Dr. Axel Weishaupt, Member of the Board of Management Schenker AG- Dr. Thomas Lieb, CEO of DB Schenker Asia Pacific – Mr. Karl-Heinz Matthes and Founder & Chairman of CPI Transport- Mr. Patrick Chen, among many other dignitaries, customers and guests.

Today, Schenker Philippines, Inc. continues to be in the top position in its industry as it strongly upholds its core values to serve both its clients and employees. Its corporate office is now located in Sucat, Parañaque after the offices are consolidated into one. It has revenues of up to EUR 50 million, with over 800 employees and 8 facilities nationwide.
